Achchuveli Central College is one of the key schools in our village and plays a vital role in shaping the future of hundreds of children each year. With classes running from Grade 1 to Grade 13, the school provides a full journey of education — from early childhood through to Advanced Level studies.
As one of only two schools in Achchuvelly offering A/L education, Achchuveli Central College is a lifeline for students who dream of pursuing higher studies. However, like many schools in rural Sri Lanka, it faces challenges due to limited resources and financial constraints within the community.
The AKAS Foundation is proud to support students at Achchuveli Central College through various initiatives — from providing essential school supplies to funding A/L tuition and university pathways. Many of the students we support here come from families with limited means, but with help, they are achieving remarkable progress.
